Teacher –Trainers / Senior EFL Teachers. Summer 2017

EFL Teacher-Trainers or highly-experienced EFL Teachers are urgently required to work on professional development programmes for non-native qualified teachers of English. Attractive pay rates.

Overview of Programmes

  • Programmes take place in July and August

  • Programmes are 4 weeks in duration (i.e. July programme is repeated in August)

  • Up to 30 hours of class contact per week

  • Course participants are teachers working in primary and secondary education in Europe

Overview of Position: Key Responsibilities

  • EFL Teacher-Training / Teaching

  • Course content development & lesson planning

  • Routine administration duties and attendance at relevant meetings

Applicant profile

  • Enthusiastic & positive with a “can-do” approach

  • Actively contributes towards collaborative work practices

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Previous experience delivering similar EFL Teacher–Development programmes

  • Previous experience on CLIL programmes

  • Experience as a CELTA / DELTA trainer would be highly desirable

Minimum Requirements

  • Essential: Both a primary degree and an ACELS-recognized TEFL qualification

  • Essential: Minimum of 4 years fulltime EFL experience

  • Desirable: DELTA / RSA DIP TEFLA

  • Desirable: Experience teaching in a primary and / or secondary level environment

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Temporary (July and August 2017) Possibility of June work

  • Pay Rates: Attractive rates. Details available on application

  • Accommodation: Accommodation at preferential rates for staff (summer only, and subject to availability)

  • Not eligible for relocation expenses
