Summer English Teachers Required - Cork English College

English Teacher

CEC is recruiting English teachers for their Junior centres for Summer 2019. These centres run from late June to mid-August and are situated in the Cork suburbs of Douglas and Bishopstown. Subsidised accommodation can be offered for a limited number of successful candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging and motivating lessons using the provided syllabus and resources

• Understand and follow school procedures as outlined in the CEC teacher manual

• Complete student reports for departing students

• Complete attendance registers and lesson report for all classes

• Prioritise the health and safety of students and staff at all times

Qualifications and Skills

Suitably qualified candidates must hold a primary degree and a recognised EFL qualification (CELT, CELTA, Trinity Cert or equivalent). Qualified primary and secondary school teachers must have completed a TEFL (SQT) Course. Post-qualification experience is an advantage but not essential.
