Principal required for NCG Dublin
NCG is now looking to recruit a Principal for our centre in Dublin.
The Principal has day to day operational responsibility for the school including student welfare, HR and financial aspects. The position is predominantly non-teaching but an academically strong candidate is preferred. This position reports to senior staff within the New College Group of Schools.
The successful candidate will have a background in EFL, strong management experience and excellent communication and organisational skills. Must have appropriate work rights and be available for a face to face interview in Dublin.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide professional leadership and management of the College
Implementation and delivery of strategic and operational plans agreed with senior management
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Motivate and inspire staff of the College at all levels to deliver their highest levels of performance and to provide an environment in which they can develop
Ensure the effective provision and management of high quality teaching and learning
Promote and deliver an outstanding student experience and provide a safe and productive learning, pastoral and social environment which is engaging and fulfilling for all students
Ensure that arrangements are in place for the safeguarding of all students
Ensure the College has in place effective quality assurance processes which ensure on-going quality improvement
Ensure the college meets all legal requirements (for example, covering areas such as Health and Safety, Data Protection, Safeguarding etc.) as well as those required for external accreditation and compliance by awarding bodies such as ACELS
Effectively manage and deploy the College’s financial and human resources to achieve the College’s aims
Required skills and experience
Strong management experience
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to relate well to students, staff and other stakeholders
Experience of budget management
Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing and challenging circumstances
Show initiative and be self-motivating
Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to formulate ideas and solutions and present them effectively
Good IT skills
First degree CELTA or equivalent
