Summer 2019 EFL Teachers - DCU Language Services
DCULS, Dublin City University invites applications from EFL teachers interested in working on our adult learning programmes (EFL) during the summer of 2019.
Programmes we offer include General English, IELTS, FCE, Business English, TOEIC, EAP, Teacher Development courses and bespoke tuition packages.
Programmes typically involve 20 class-room contact hours per week, Monday- Friday, and are delivered across our campuses in north Dublin city.
Responsibilities.
EFL teaching duties
Lesson planning, homework & assessment management, student support.
Standard administration related to attendance, progress reports etc.
Engagement with CPD and quality assurance processes.
The school operates morning and afternoon timetables. Flexibility in respect of scheduling is required from successful candidates.

Minimum Requirements
Primary degree or equivalent (NFQ level 7 or above).
ACELS-recognised TEFL qualification (CELT, CELTA, Trinity ESOL Diploma) *
Two-years full-time EFL teaching experience.

1. On-line entry-level TEFL qualifications are not accepted.

Scans of qualifications (degree and TEFL qualifications) will be required.
Contract Details
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Dates: Staggered, from June 2019
Induction: Successful applicants must attend pre-service induction
Vetting: Garda Vetting clearance is mandatory for all staff
Probation: Employment is dependent on probationary criteria being fully met.
